JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Jefferson County's annual Giving Tree program has launched virtually amid the coronavirus pandemic, and people still have time to add a last-minute gift.

In previous years, hundreds of gift tags for local children were placed on a tree in the county's administration and courts facility, but this year, residents are asked to find the gift tags on the Giving Tree website. Only gift cards will be accepted, the county said.

The gift cards can be returned to the holiday-themed drop box on the first floor of the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden. The deadline for dropping off the cards is 5 p.m. Dec. 3.
