Lakewood Seeks Video Auditions For Rising Stars Talent Show

LAKEWOOD, CO — Talented people of all ages are invited to submit video auditions for a spot on the Lakewood Rising Stars Talent Show. Those who are chosen will have the chance to win awards in a March 13 performance.

Kids in grades K-12 and adults can enter in groups or solo, city officials said. There is a $5 fee per entry, and contestants can submit a two- to four-minute audition video in the following categories:

· Voice: includes singers performing to a recorded track.

· Music: includes any instrument or combination of instrument and voice.

· Variety: includes dance, comedy, spoken word, martial arts and other movement.

Selected contestants will perform live on stage at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway, at 4 p.m. March 13. Tickets, $12-$24, include limited theater seating and livestream options.
