Lakewood Symphony Orchestra Announces Grand Re-Opening Concert

Musicians are set to take the stage Aug. 28.

LAKEWOOD, CO — The Lakewood Symphony Orchestra is holding a concert to celebrate its return after a season that was lost during the pandemic.

The grand re-opening concert is set to be held at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 28, at the Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park Amphitheater.

The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for children.

The Lakewood Symphony Orchestra has performed since 1977. Its annual concert season runs from October through June.

The Lakewood Symphony Orchestra is among several local groups that are announcing a return to the stage — tickets are now on sale for live performances at the Lakewood Cultural Center. The center announced in July the 2021-2022 season.
