Lakewood's FREE Rockin' Block Party Gets Groovy June 8
Beatles and Santana-themed live music, outdoor movie, kids activities and food trucks.
LAKEWOOD, CO – Get ready to rock and roll as the City of Lakewood rolls out its free party to kick off the summer season on Saturday, Jun. 8 at the Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 S. Yarrow St., from 5 - 11 p.m.
This year's Rockin Block Party theme is "party like it's 1969" with an evening of free live music from 4 Lads From Liverpool, a Beatles tribute band, and opening act Soul Sacrifice, a Santana tribute band.
The yearly party features activities for children, live music, affordable food trucks, The Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union and an outdoor movie screening of “The Love Bug.”

Rockin’ Block also concludes Lakewood’s INSPIRE Arts Week, May 30 through June 8, a 10-day annual festival that features free and discounted arts and cultural events presented by more than 15 Lakewood partner organizations. INSPIRE includes gallery openings, activities, classes and performances for the whole family.
