More Than 300 Jeffco Kids To Receive Gifts Through Giving Tree
For the second year in a row, the 2021 Giving Tree went virtual.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Thanks to Coloradans' generosity, 310 children in Jefferson County will receive presents this holiday season, the county's board of commissioners said.
The county launched its 2021 Giving Tree virtually for a second year in a row. Donors were able to "adopt" children from the Giving Tree website and buy gift cards for the kids.
In previous years, hundreds of gift tags for local children were placed on a tree in the county's administration and courts facility, but this year, and in 2020, residents were asked to find the gift tags on the Giving Tree website.
