South Park Creators Offer To Buy Casa Bonita
Trey Parker and Matt Stone told The Hollywood Reporter that they are aiming to buy the iconic restaurant, which was featured on their show.

LAKEWOOD, CO — The embattled, yet iconic restaurant Casa Bonita could be purchased by "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Lakewood mainstay was first featured on the show nearly two decades ago, and many outside Colorado were surprised to find out that Casa Bonita was a real restaurant.
The popular eatery and family entertainment venue, at 6715 W Colfax Ave., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April, and rallies and fundraisers have been held in an effort to save the restaurant.

"We want to buy Casa Bonita and treat it right," Parker told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday. "I feel like it was neglected even before the pandemic."
The possible purchase, which is on hold due to court proceedings, would involve Colorado restaurateurs, the South Park creators told the outlet. Casa Bonita has been closed for about a year, but its gift shop and arcade have reopened.
