  1. A handcycle specifically designed for 73-year-old and partial-quadriplegic, Jim Stockbridge, was stolen in Lakewood during the day on Monday. Stockbridge had spent about $6,500 on the bicycle, which he was hoping to use during RAGBRAI, a 500-mile bike event. Stockbridge said, "It’s a unique bike, and it’s not functional to almost anybody else. So I’d appreciate it if they could return it." Visit Denver 7 to find out more.
  2. Wildfire smoke coming from Canada potentially resulted in yesterday's hazy sunrise in Conifer, whose air quality dipped to "unhealthy" for part of the day. The rest of the metro-Denver region saw "good" or "moderate" air-quality, despite the fires. Read more at Fox 31.
  3. The Lakewood police are still searching for the driver involved in the fatal hit-and-run that happened at the end of last month. The accident happened around W. 6th Avenue Frontage Road and Jay Street. Police are seeking help finding the person who was behind the wheel. Learn more at Denver 7.
  4. Denver's literary claim-to-fame, Lighthouse Writers Workshop, has moved to a new location to accommodate its 1,500 members. In addition to rigorous adult and youth workshops, Lighthouse is also well-known for Lit Fest, an eight-day event that attracts authors from all different backgrounds.
