This show is a special showcase for Hall, as Berlin has been his home for the past two decades and it is where he created the work featured in this show.

To date, his showcases have been elsewhere throughout New England.

The artwork is all done on reclaimed house windows and is the result of experimentation with glass painting techniques.

There will be a special event during the exhibition on Jan. 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., which is open to the public, called “The Art of the Mocktail.”

Here, Hall and Berlin mixologist Josh Fowler will be hosting both a reception celebrating the exhibit and the art of crafting a delicious mocktail.

The evening will include a talk by the artist and mixologist, samples of specialty mocktails, and light refreshments.

The exhibit is open during the library's regular hours and it is located in a room used for special events at the library.

Hall, a self-taught artist, started painting eight years ago and has been exhibiting his work in just the last four years.

He is an active member of the Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven and his work has been featured and won awards in shows across New England, including at the New Britain Museum of American Art, Mattatuck Museum, Hill-Stead Museum, Mystic Museum of Art, and the Edward Hopper House & Museum.
