Berlin GOP Helps Out BHS' Safe Grad Party

BERLIN, CT — Local Republicans recently cut a check to the people behind organizing a safe graduation party for the Class of 2025 in June.

The Berlin Republican Town Committee donated $1,000 to the effort and they presented the check to the committee at Berlin High School.

"Berlin Republican Town Committee is delighted to have made a generous donation to the 2025 Berlin High School All Night Grad committee on April 1," wrote the GOP in a statement Friday.

The all-night grad event is a parent-run operation that provides a safe, drug- and alcohol-free post-graduation experience.

To make it happen, the committee relies on donations from friends and families.
