BERLIN, CT — Local Republicans are hosting a special community cookout fundraising event this Sunday featuring plenty of food. The event, hosted by the Berlin Republican Town Committee, will take place Sunday, Aug. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. at American Legion Post 68, 154 Porters Pass, Berlin. It will feature hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, summer salads, and desserts, along with water and soda. Alcoholic beverages are on a BYOB basis. Tickets are $30 for adults, with children 5-12 $12, and children under 4 free.
