Berlin HS Unified Theater To Perform Special Show

Berlin High School's Unified Theater Program features students with disabilities working with others. Its next show is Thursday, May 15.

BERLIN, CT — The community is invited to a very special component of Berlin High School's performing arts program as Berlin Unified Theater is hosting a play about the Big Apple.

Called "A Night in NYC," the show was written by students in the program, and it will take place in Berlin High School's auditorium, 139 Patterson Way, Berlin, on Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m.

Admission is free, but donations to the unique high school theater production are always accepted.

Unified theater, like more well-known unified sports, features students with emotional and physical challenges working with other classmates together on a theatrical production.

This particular show was written by students and it will be performed by students of all abilities.
