Berlin Library Offers Summer Scares On Its Reading List

BERLIN, CT — Who says summer reading must be light and brainless?

Sometimes, a good book means a good scare and the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library recently published a list of scary books folks should borrow this summer is they looking to get their goosebumps activated prior to the Halloween season.

"If you’re tired of the typical beach reads and looking for something that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this list is for you," wrote the library, which is located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin.

"From spine-chilling thrillers to supernatural horrors, these new releases are sure to give you goosebumps and make your heart race."

And, with library books, they're always free and you return them, so they don't accumulate in your home.
