Berlin-Peck Library's Children's Department Remains Closed
Crews continue to cleanup and repair the damage caused by a burst water pipe.

The Children’s Department at the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library will remain closed this week.
In an announcement posted on Facebook, here is the latest from the library:
“Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding as we work to assess the damage in the Children’s Department and begin the cleanup and restoration process. We have been told that the Children’s Dept. will NOT be open at all through at least next week. All children’s programs have been cancelled through Saturday, Feb. 27.
We will keep everyone posted with information as we receive it! In the meantime, we do have a selection of children’s books and DVD’s available near our circulation desk that can be checked out.”
The department has been closed since a pipe burst last week and damaged the library and Community Center, which has since reopened.
