Grow Something With Berlin Library's Seed Stash
The 'Berlin Seed Library' is ready to both dole out and collect local plant, and vegetable seeds for the upcoming spring planting season.
BERLIN, CT — While a fine may grow if one doesn't return their books on time to the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library, something else will grow for something borrowed that isn't a book.
That "something" is whatever is growing from seeds taken from the library's "seed library," which is now open for "borrowing" and the donation of seeds.
With winter weather still dominating, local gardeners are invited to stop by to check out vegetable, flower, and herb seeds available at the library.

Even better is the fact there are no late fees, no due dates, and people don’t even need to donate seeds in order to borrow seeds.
