Patriotism Will Be On Display In Berlin At Military Band Concert
The 102nd Army Band will play "Berlin's Tribute to Veterans Concert" on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m. at Berlin Veterans Memorial Park.

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin community will gather on Wednesday for an evening of proud patriotic music celebrating the country and the military.
The Berlin Veterans Commission said the 102nd Army Band, "CTANG Brass and Concert Band," will play “Berlin’s Tribute to Veterans Concert” on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Berlin Veterans Memorial Park on Veterans Way near Stop & Shop.

The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert band is comprised of 30 musicians, performing on wind, percussion, and rhythm instruments.

"This year’s concert program highlights the story of military service, referenced by musical compositions that reflect historically significant battles across various conflicts involving the United States," reads an event announcement.
The Berlin Veterans Memorial Park is located on Veterans Way between Massirio Drive and Lower Lane.
"Please come early to set up your lawn chairs and take a walk around the America’s Wars Walkway to see and learn why we have the freedoms we have today," wrote the veterans commission.
The band will be set up by the gazebo right next to the pond.
