Berlin High School sophomore Austin Lawrence place second at "The Battle at Burlingame" High School Invitational Mountain Bike Cross Country Classic on Sunday, May 6th.
The 11-mile race was held in Charlestown, R.I. The course consisted of a fast, scenic, single-track trail with plenty of winding and rolling terrain and some great technical sections to keep riders on their toes.
Austin is an avid mountain biker who is in his second year as a "Riding Redcoat" on the BHS mountain bike team led by Coach Jim Arnold.

His next race will take place on May 16 at Berkshire Academy in Sheffield, MA.
