UPDATE: Storm Damage Closes Roads; Impacts Berlin School Schedules
Local roads are closed; Schools have changed their schedules for Thursday.

Update: 7:25 A.M.
Berlin Police are advising that the following roads are closed. Please use alternate routes:
- Beckley Mills Rd.
- Wethersfield Rd.
- Southington Rd. @ the Southington Line.
- Chamberlain Hwy at Village La.
- Chamberlain Hwy at Vineyard Dr.
WFSB also reports that a large tree fell on Hudson Street sometime overnight, taking down power lines.
According to Eversource, as of 7:25 a.m. there are 1,311 customers without power around town.

As of 6:05 a.m. Thursday, there are nearly 1,900 Eversource customers without power in town.
The outages and damage caused by the overnight storms, Berlin Public Schools will have a two-hour delay for the start of school on Thursday.
And pre-school classes have been cancelled, according to the district.
LIttle Blessings has cancelled morning classes.
St. Paul’s School has a two-hour delay.
Statewide, there are more than 69,800 customers without power as of 6:05 a.m.
