Branford Police To Participate in Take Back Meds Day Saturday

You can bring any unused or expired medications for safe disposal with no questions asked to the community room at the Branford Police Dept.

BRANFORD, CT - The Branford Police Department in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Program this Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

You can bring any unused or expired medications for safe disposal with no questions asked to the community room at the Branford Police Department, 33 Laurel Street, Branford.Officers and department staff will be on hand to help collect medication.

Recently, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health indicated that 6 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs, often times obtaining these medications from family and friends’ medicine cabinets.
