"( Please no negative comments towards this family) It was very difficult for them to give her up but they were dealing with illnesses, financial hardships and the loss of their home. We gladly took in Cali and immediately fell in love with her!

"We have made it our mission to show Cali a wonderful week next week and have a bunch of fun things planned for her like visiting the beach, going for ice cream, sunning herself at a volunteers fenced in yard, a long walk in the woods and so much more. If you have ideas for places to take Cali to or would like to send something to Cali please feel free to.
"It is our goal to let this precious girl know that she is cherished and adored. We have notified her previous family and have let them know that we will do everything in our power to make her comfortable and happy for as long as we can.
"These situations are awful for people who have animals when they go through it at their homes and they are no different for us at the shelter. We love every animal as an individual when they come to us and cherish them until they find their forever homes. Cali doesn't have much time, but we are bound and determined to make sure she has so much fun while she is with us!"
