An ongoing housing project off Gould and the heavy construction equipment that treks over Gould to get to the project every day have made a mess of the road the past few months - forcing some drivers to zigzag into the wrong lane to avoid potholes.
Well shortly after Patch posted the story, calling it the worst road in Branford, guess what's been happening?

For the past several days public work crews from the town of Branford have been busily working on patching up the road. On Wednesday, the road was even shut down to traffic for most of the day while the work went on.
