Tasty Yolk Opens New Location In Branford
The popular gourmet breakfast sandwich shop recently opened its third storefront in Connecticut.
BRANFORD, CT — The owners of Fairfield County-based the Tasty Yolk recently opened the popular gourmet breakfast sandwich shop’s third storefront location in Branford.
The Tasty Yolk is located at 539 Main St. in Branford. It is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
The Tasty Yolk was established in 2016 by two lifelong friends, Michael Bertanza and chef Eric Felitto. It started as a food truck and has now grown into three storefront locations.

Bertanza told the ShoreLine Times that Branford was a good fit for their latest location for a variety of reasons, including they wanted to make employee Brian Regnere, a nearby resident, the head chef there.
The ShoreLine Times reports the partners spent more than $250,000 refurbishing the 1,200-square-foot Branford location, which has no seating and is to-go orders only.
