32 apartments are coming to downtown Bridgeport.

From Forstone Capitol

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim joined Brett Wilderman and Brandon Hall, principals and founders of Forstone Capital, and Deputy Commissioner Nick Lundgren of the Department of Housing (DOH), to mark the official opening of McLevy Square Apartments in downtown Bridgeport.

Mayor Ganim stated, “The City of Bridgeport is fortunate to have a top-quality development organization like Forstone Capital who have made an investment of approximately $18 million dollars into their most recent project at McLevy Square. Forstone has been doing more than investing in buildings and development, they have continued to make a positive impact and commitment to the city and the entire downtown district by restoring historical landmarks while creating new living spaces and entertainment venues that will attract residents and visitors.”

The historic building at 177-189 State Street collectively features 32 one- and two-bedroom units, many of which overlook the city’s McLevy Green. In addition to providing beautiful views of the park and the city throughout the year, every unit features oversized windows that let in plenty of natural sunlight throughout the interior of each space. Each unit also includes a washer and dryer, air conditioner, dishwater, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

“We are extremely proud of the McLevy Square redevelopment project and, as part of that, are excited to bring new living opportunities downtown – providing spaces that are modern and located in a great area,” said Brett Wilderman, Principal, Fortstone Capital. “Very soon, residents who live at McLevy will be able to walk to several entertainment options, including Harlan Haus, a German-style beer hall, and The Stress Factory comedy club. Downtown Bridgeport is really becoming the place to be.”
