Obituary: Edward W. Bedat, Sr., 60, of Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Edward W. Bedat, Sr., age 60, of Bridgeport, died after a long illness on December 18, 2021.

Mr. Bedat was born in Bridgeport to the late Harold and Caroline Bedat.

He was the husband of the late Michele Bedat.

Ed was an Alumni of Stratford High School, Class of 1981 and one stellar over the road trucker.

Ed loved the Lord and served in the White Oak Baptist Church bus ministry, addiction ministry and loved the Gospel.

He is survived by his children, son Edward Bedat, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, and their five children Jasmine, Noah, Elijah, Nathan and Carolynn, son Steven Bedat and his wife, Meghan, daughter Stacey Bedat and her children Bree and Kevin, son Nick Bedat and his wife, Jillian and their children Lexi, Carmen and Kobe and step-son Mike Hand who he raised as his own: brother, Johnny Bedat and wife, Renee along with their children David and Amanda, sister Robin Bedat and brother Harold Bedat, Jr.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
