FARMINGTON, CT — A prominent museum in Farmington is hosting one of its biggest annual events this weekend in the form of the annual "May Market" at the Hill-Stead Museum.

Located at 35 Mountain Road, Farmington, Hill-Stead is a beloved art and history museum that covers 152 acres, with the lush grounds/trails surrounding the buildings as much a part of the experience as the exhibits.

As for the "May Market," this massive event features "premium vendors, flowers and unique plants perfect for Mother’s Day both indoors and outdoors," according to the museum.

It will take place Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

"Shop and enjoy the beautiful grounds during this springtime celebration. Rain or shine," wrote the museum.

Tickets to the event are $10 for adults, with children 12 and under free. They are available at the entrance.

So far, nearly 50 vendors have signed up and are expected to be at the "May Market."
