Daniel J. Mastella MD of The Hand Center Completes Cross Country Cycling Trip
Dan & Karen Mastella ride Portland, OR to Portland, ME
On October 7, Dan and Karen Mastella returned home to Farmington after cycling together across the USA with a group of 20 riders. The ‘Portland to Portland’ trip began at the Pacific Ocean in Astoria, OR on August 20th and ended at the Atlantic Ocean in Portland, ME on October 6.
The intrepid group crossed through 15 states, rode 3,820 miles, climbed 161,245 ft. and spent 248 hours in the saddle.
Grateful for superb riding weather, a great group of fellow cyclists, and friends and family who followed the journey, Dan is happy to be back practicing at The Hand Center with offices in Farmington, Glastonbury and Hartford.
