Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
Alyssa is a nurse at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. She is currently in graduate school to advance her nursing career.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Alyssa has been my rock through the last ten or more years. She is one of few I go to when I need advice of any kind, even medical input. She is a very sweet person. She cares for her patients as if they were her own family.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Alyssa recently decided to stay with her boyfriend (towns away from her job) during this time of COVID-19 to protect her own family. I respect her choice to make such a drastic decision to protect those she loves and cares for, even if it means spending more on gas; or waking up earlier to get to work; or not having as much family time.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Devin is such a sweet and uplifting person. She gives off such positive and calm energy; which is the perfect combination to handle working in the E.R. I want to give her a personal shout out for keeping calm & striving during this time!!

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Even when she is not working, Devin acts like my own personal nurse. She often asks and cares for my dad’s well-being, whom is often hospitalized.
