FARMINGTON, CT — A 104-year-old Farmington woman recently achieved a lifelong dream when she held one of Mystic Aquarium's penguins, according to reports.

Bertha Komor, a resident of Village Gate of Farmington, has wanted to meet a penguin for her entire life, NBC Connecticut reported.

And on Wednesday, she was finally able to, as Mystic Aquarium staff brought the facility's oldest penguin — a 35-year-old African penguin named Red Green — to her, the TV station said.

"I didn't expect this, is wonderful," Komor told WFSB. "Best part was petting him and seeing him close up."
