Farmington 2023 Election Guide: Polls Open At 6 a.m. Tuesday

FARMINGTON, CT — On Nov. 7, Farmington residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions.

Contested races include the town council and school board.

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Town Council Chairperson (vote for one)

Democrat: Rafeena Bacchus Lee

Republican: Joe Capidoferro

Petitioning: William D. Rebillard

Town Council (vote for two per district)

District 1

Democratic candidates are: David Wlodkowski and Brian FX Connelly.

Republican candidates are: Shari L. Greco and Sarah Healey.

District 2

Democratic candidates are: Matt Hutvagner and Patricia Boye-Williams.

Republican candidates are: Keith Vibert and Amy Palumbo.

Board of Education (vote for three)

Democratic candidates are: James Rackliffe, Beth Kintner and Erika Nowakowski.

Republican candidates are: Nicole Morin, Angela Cianci and Suraj Kurtakoti.

Board of Assessment Appeals - full term (vote for one)

Democratic candidates are: Frank Gerratana

Republican candidates are: Richard Higley

Republican Michael J. Koster is running unopposed.

Planning and Zoning Commission - full term (vote for two)

Democratic candidates are: Matthew Bandle and Liz Sanford.

Democrat David St. Germain is running unopposed.
