Farmington Synagogue To Celebrate Chanukah On The Green Tonight

The event will feature food, music, fun, and the lighting of a large Menorah in the heart of town.

FARMINGTON, CT — A local synagogue is hosting a big Chanukah celebration tonight, Dec. 17, in the heart of Farmington.

Farmington Chabad is hosting "Chanukah on the Green" today at 5:30 p.m., an event that will include the lighting of a large, 7-foot Menorah.

The family-friendly celebration will also include hot drinks, doughnuts, music, and a Dreidel mascot.

In addition, the local fire department will have a fire engine available for children to explore, and there will even be a Chanukah gift drop.

The Farmington Green is off Farmington Avenue at the corners of Route 4 and Main Street.
