Farmington Seeks Back-To-School Donations For Those In Need

From now until Friday, Aug. 8, Farmington Community Services is collecting back-to-school supply donations for those who need them.

FARMINGTON, CT — As much as schoolchildren don't want to admit it, back-to-school time is officially upon us, with local schools opening next month and parents frantically shopping for it.

Farmington schools open up for class on Monday, Aug. 25, which is unusually early.

That means folks looking to help Farmington Community Service's "Back to School Program" for those struggling economically have a bit less time to act.
