Letter of Support for Bill Beckert, Town Council, 2nd District

Support for Bill Beckert, Town Council, 2nd District

Please join me in voting to elect attorney Bill Beckert to the Farmington Town Council in the 2nd District.

Farmington is fortunate to have a public servant like Bill Beckert who has volunteered his time and talent for the past 20 years for the betterment of our town and all its citizens. Bill is currently chair of the Board of Education and has served on the board for four terms. Prior to that he served on the Town Plan and Zoning Commission (TPZ) and the Town Conservation Commission. Bill’s broad-based depth of experience and knowledge of our town uniquely prepare him to do an excellent job on the Town Council.

Bill is a 25-year resident of Farmington and has volunteered in many other capacities, as well. He is a former Little League softball and baseball coach, a travel coach and recreation basketball coach. Combined with his 20 years of public service on town boards, Bill has demonstrated a unique dedication to our town and the well-being of its citizens.

Bill will work to keep our property taxes affordable while delivering the high-quality, essential services our citizens deserve… like programs that help our seniors and support public safety. He understands that our excellent schools are an important factor in making Farmington a very desirable place to live and in helping to keep our property values high. With the challenges the future may hold, Bill is committed to working closely with our state delegation to pursue more state funding and in maintaining our low property taxes.

Please vote for Bill Beckert for Farmington Town Council, 2nd District, on (or before by early voting) November 4th.
