Mike Tucci: Fresh Ideas to Modernize the Town Clerk's Office

At a time when affordability is a major concern for Farmington taxpayers, let's elect Mike Tucci as Farmington’s next Town Clerk. Mike has much-needed, fresh ideas on how to modernize the services provided by the Town Clerk's office to save us money and to get work done more efficiently and promptly while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Specifically, Mike has plans to expand online access that streamlines outdated processes and thus cuts waste. Most importantly, in order to run fair and accurate elections, Mike will hit the ground running. Mike wants to prioritize strengthening partnerships with the town’s registrars of voters who currently work with the Town Clerk to oversee our elections, revamping training for staff and elections workers, and using modern tools to reduce delays and catch any errors before they happen. Most of all, Mike is focused on integrity and trust, protecting every vote and ensuring continued compliance with election laws.

Mike has served our town with distinction. He’s a volunteer firefighter with the Farmington Fire Department (Farmington Station) and works with the Farmington Land Trust. Mike is also currently in his first term on the Town Plan and Zoning Commission where he’s strived for a balanced approach to development to prevent more traffic.
