AFTH's 2022 Building Beautiful Families Calendar Fundraiser

Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH), a nonprofit open adoption agency, has released the 2022 Building Beautiful Families Calendar. Each year, the calendar features pictures of twelve adoptees whose placement was facilitated by AFTH.

The 2022 calendar is available for purchase on AFTH’s website for $14 each. All proceeds will support the agency’s Expecting and Birth Parent Support Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to expecting and birth parents in need. Year-round, the fund helps expecting and birth parents cover basic needs such as food, clothing, housing, transportation to medical appointments, and more.

“Choosing adoption for my baby was the right thing. I work full time but at minimum wage, I was just making ends meet with my two other children. My C-section left me unable to work for 8 weeks. Without a paycheck, I couldn’t pay rent and was getting evicted. AFTH covered 2 months of rent so I could keep my apartment. I’m back to work now but I can’t imagine having to take my children to a shelter because I couldn’t go back to work right away after having a baby. “

The impact of year-end giving is greater now than ever. AFTH expecting and birth parents continue to experience the financial impact of the effects of COVID-19. Each dollar raised from the annual fundraiser helps make a difference in an expecting or birth parent’s life.
