• In disputes over turf vs. grass, neither side gets entirely solid footing so far (idahostatesman.com) — Glastonbury voters narrowly rejected a referendum to ban new synthetic turf fields, keeping the option open for future turf on town-owned properties and school fields. The close vote has energized both turf supporters and the Grassroots Coalition, which now aims to influence how the town replaces its existing turf field and improves natural grass conditions for local youth sports.
