Heart-to-Heart with Adoption Influencers!

Join us for a LIVE🤩 conversation with Adoption Influencers who are also advocates of adoption as Adoptees, Birth Parents, and Adoptive Parents. Although the adoption triad consists of only 3 facets, the community is large and it is our duty to continue giving voices to those willing to speak! Join us as these amazing and brave influencers share their life experiences. We will discuss topics from the power of social media, transracial adoption, helping others through sharing their personal stories, what the adoption community can do better, plus much more!

This event will feature six panelists who all come from different backgrounds but are grounded in the same life experience of adoption.

INTRODUCING OUR PANELISTS:

Grace Otley was adopted from Vietnam in 2000 through AFTH. Grace is Miss Delaware 2022 with the Miss America Organization, where her social impact initiative is adoption.

Courtney Tierra is an educator, author, and birth mom. She holds a Master's in Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and recently wrote and published a children's book, created to help parents instill knowledge of worth at a young age.

Melissa Guida-Richards is an author and adoptee advocate. She has been featured in the Huffington Post, as well as launched the Adoptee Thoughts Instagram and Podcast to help elevate adoptee voices and educate adoptive parents on the nuances and complexity of adoption.

Taylor Shennett is an Asian-American adoptee, advocate, and content creator. Social media has led Taylor to a career in marketing and partnerships with industries ranging from Beauty, Food and Beverage, Retail, and more. Taylor has made her mark on TikTok, where she has over 100k followers and shares her experience as an adoptee.

Ashley Mitchell is the owner of Big Tough Girl and Founder + Executive Director of Lifetime Healing Foundation, a resource center for birth mothers. For over a decade, Ashley has remained one of the most consistent and sought-after birth mother voices, touching the hearts of countless members of the adoption community.

Isaac Etter is an activist and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of “Identity” focused on providing accessible, diverse, and ethical adoption and foster care education. Formerly, Isaac worked in adoption through his consulting firm Etter Consulting, training families and adoption agencies on transracial adoption.
