Teen Charged In Glastonbury Larceny Investigation
A teen is facing several charges related to vehicle-related thefts in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT β A teen is facing several charges related to vehicle-related thefts in Glastonbury, police said.
According to an arrest report, Michael Ashlund, 18, of Waterbury, was taken into custody as part of an investigation into car-related thefts. Investigators determined that Ashlund and an accomplice entered buildings and vehicles in the Georgetown Drive and Apple Hill neighborhoods on Dec, 4, and, when confronted by police, Ashlund tried to drive away, then crashed, then fled on foot, according to an arrest report.
He was apprehended a short time latter by State police near East River Drive in East Hartford, according to an arrest report.

Ashlund has been charged with:
- First-degree burglary (with a related conspiracy charge)
- Larceny of a motor vehicle (with a related conspiracy charge)
- Illegal Possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle (with a related conspiracy charge)
- Fourth-degree larceny (with a related conspiracy charge)
- Interfering with police
