GLASTONBURY, CT — A passed-out driver located on a highway ramp on New Year's Day is now facing a drunken driving charge, Glastonbury police said.

A report on the incident was released Thursday.

At 1:15 p.m., Glastonbury Police arrested the 43-year-old local resident for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance, according to an incident report.

He was found slumped at the steering wheel of his vehicle on the Route 2 off ramp at Hebron Avenue, police said.
