Sports Bar Patron Attacks Staffer With Broken Glass: Glastonbury Police
A customer of a sports bar in Glastonbury is accused of a violent attack on a staff member.

GLASTONBURY, CT β A patron of a Glastonbury sports bar is accused of attacking a staff member of the bar with broken glass, police said.
Glastonbury police released a report on the incident Monday.
According to an arrest report, on Nov. 29, Alijah Marie Sanchez, 26, of New Britain, was arrested on charges that include second-degree assault, attempted sixth-degree larceny and second-degree and breach of peace after police responded to a reported assault on an employee at the Clubhouse on Main, 2866 Main St.

Sanchez is accused of throwing a drink glass that hit an employee and, after the glass broke, picking up a chard of glass and striking the the employee in the head with it as other restaurant employees attempted to physically control her, according to an arrest report.
Sanchez is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on
