Water Main Break Leaves Glastonbury Customers Dry

The Metropolitan District says it expects repairs to be completed late Monday night.

GLASTONBURY, CT - Metropolitan District crews have responded to a water main break on Melrose Street in Glastonbury that reportedly has cut off service to 14 homes in the area.

Officials from the Metropolitan District (MDC) told WFSB that there is a 4-inch water main break affecting 14 homes on Melrose Street, between Concord and House streets.

Repairs are expected to be repaired by 11:30 p.m., according to the WFSB report that can be found here.
