Woman With 3 Active Warrants Arrested In Glastonbury: Police
An officer pulled her car over and discovered she had three active "failure to appear in court" arrest warrants from two police departments.
GLASTONBURY, CT — When a Glastonbury officer pulled a car over on Tuesday, he discovered that its driver had three active arrest warrants for failure to appear in court, police said.
Police stopped a vehicle driven by Jennifer Bennett-Gleacher, 44, of Terryville on Tuesday at around 12:07 p.m. on Manchester Road for a motor vehicle violation, Glastonbury police said.
Bennett-Gleacher was charged with possession of a controlled substance (first offense), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license and interfering with an officer, according to police reports.

Additionally, the officer found that she held two active arrest warrants from the Bristol Police Department for failure to appear in court on Jan. 3 and 4, as well as an active arrest warrant from the Newington Police Department for failure to appear in court on Jan. 3, police reports say.
Bennett-Gleacher was unable to post bond and was held to be presented in court on Wednesday, police said.
