Wrong-Way, Drunken Driver Snagged In Glastonbury
A 75-year-old driver was drunk and heading the wrong way in Glastonbury, police said.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A Hartford man is facing criminal charges after a wrong-way driving incident in Glastonbury, police said.
Police released details of the Jan. 16 incident this week.
According to an arrest report, at 10:18 a.m. that day, officers observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of Glastonbury Boulevard. The vehicle was stopped and its 75-year-old driver was found to be driving an unregistered vehicle while under the influence, according to an arrest report.

The man was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive upon right and driving an unregistered vehicle.
