Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Yes. I was elected to RTM District 2 (2013-2017) and Town Council (2017-present)
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I am running for re-election to continue my commitment to the Town and to be a role model to show others that I am part of the solution.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Housing and food insecurity. I will work not only with my state representatives, but also with community organizations to find the best ways to assist families in securing all their needs. The Town needs to improve its housing stock across all spectrums. We need to foster the development of more affordable/workforce housing.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
We each have unique qualities and that is what a community is - different people and ideas that come together to make a difference.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
I am the incumbent.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
There are several issues that affect our community which includes housing, food insecurity, parking and economic growth.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As part of the Council, we have new housing development coming in, there a two Community outreach specialists in the police department, and worked on bringing a stable budget.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
As a woman of color and a professional public servant, I’ve worked hard to ensure that I am doing what was best for the health and welfare of the community.
