City Of Groton Releases Info On Tree-Planting Event
The event is coming up later this month and is hosted by the Nature Conservancy and the city.
GROTON, CT — The City of Groton will host a tree-planting event later this month.
"Trees help our communities in so many ways," a flyer for the event reads. "They reduce temperatures, provide cooling, improve well-being and much more! Join the Nature Conservancy and the City of Groton to plant trees around the Five Corners area."
The event will be Sept. 27 and Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
