GROTON, CT — Drivers in Groton should expect delays on Route 215 starting Monday, June 9, as a temporary traffic signal will control alternating one-way traffic due to ongoing culvert repairs.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that the project, which involves replacing culvert headwalls and relining the pipe near Anderson Marsh and Beebe Cove, will require a continuous single-lane closure through November 2025.

Traffic signs and pavement markings will guide motorists through the work zone. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution, as weather or other factors could extend the timeline.
