Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.

GROTON, CT — A man is facing charges in connection with a shooting incident at a downtown municipal parking lot in New London in November, according to police. Police responded to the parking lot between Golden and Pearl streets on a report of gunshots being fired at 1:10 a.m., Nov. 28. Police found evidence supporting the report of gunfire. No injuries were reported. Following an investigation, Bryce Jaden Harper, 22, of Groton, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Anyone with information can contact the New London Police Department's Detective Bureau at 860-447-1481 or anonymous information can be submitted via the New London Tips 411 system by texting NLPDTip plus the information to Tip411 (847411).
