Mystic Gears Up For 20th Annual Irish Parade Celebration
The parade next weekend is expected to draws tens of thousands of attendees.
MYSTIC, CT — Mystic is set to host its 20th Annual Irish Parade on Sunday, March 23, at 1 p.m. The event will feature over 2,000 marchers, 100 units, and is expected to draw more than 30,000 spectators.
The parade will commence at the Mystic Seaport Museum, proceed through downtown, and conclude at the Mystic Museum of Art.
This year's grand marshal is Judi Caracausa, a Mystic resident and real estate broker.

To ensure public safety, the Town of Groton Police Department will have a strong presence during the event. Attendees are advised to arrive early due to limited parking and increased traffic.
Police also said they will have extra officers out in cars and on foot this weekend through Monday evening "to help ensure public safety in Groton and our portion of Mystic."
