GROTON, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Mask maker

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She has spent every day all day sewing hundreds and hundreds of masks for not just those in need but also for first responders. This is something she has done out of the kindness of her soul! The kicker is she hasn't once charged anyone for their mask!!!!!

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She's completely selfless.
