1 Dead In Apartment Fire In Hartford: Reports
Multiple residents were forced from their apartments in the building by the early morning fire, according to reports.

GREATER HARTFORD, CT — One person died in an apartment fire on Spring Street early Sunday, according to reports.
The fire in the Asylum Hill district, which was reported about 4 a.m., damaged all three floors of the apartment building, Hartford Firefighters Local 760 said.
There were "many residents in need of rescue and reports of people trapped," the firefighters union said.

The name of the person who died and where they were in the building was not released, News 8 reported.
Photos shared by the firefighters union on Facebook show flames shooting from windows on all three stories of the building.

There were at least nine apartments damaged in the blaze and 12 people displaced as a result, WFSB reported.
The fire was burning heavily on the first floor when firefighters arrived and quickly spread to the second and third floors, NBC Connecticut reported.
