Embattled Restaurateur Now Evicted From Her Hartford Seafood Bar: Reports
The owner of the eatery also owns a small chain of upscale restaurants and is facing felony larceny charges for not paying a supplier.
HARTFORD, CT — The embattled restaurateur who is currently caught in a web of criminal charges and evictions has been evicted from another Hartford restaurant site.
According to WFSB Channel 3, Dina Luari, who is the owner of the RAW seafood bar in Hartford, has now been evicted from her site there for not paying rent.
Citing court papers, WFSB reported that Luari and RAW owed at least $18,000 in back rent for its site at 280 Trumbull St.

WTNH Channel 8 reported that eviction notices, which were finalized Sept. 29, are now on the front doors of the restaurant.
Luari's RAW eviction came the same month she was charged by the East Hartford Police Department for larcenyafter police said she failed to pay a restaurant equipment supplier in that town.

Luari also owns "The Place 2 Be" restaurants in West Hartford, Hartford, and Springfield, Mass., though West Hartford is reportedly temporarily closed, Hartford has reopened after being closed, and Springfield, Mass., is permanently closed.
