Hartford Resident Wins $50,000 Lottery Prize
The big win came on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford resident won $50,000 after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in the city, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Aug. 6, the winner, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased a Multiplier Madness ticket at Sam's Quick Stop in Hartford and won $50,000, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
